Hashtags are a crucial part of social media nowadays, hashtags help your content to get discovered on social media and also attract new relevant followers. Just like In SEO a keyword helps your website or page to get discovered on google search, hashtags help your social media content get discovered and make it searchable to the relevant userbase or viewer.
Using a hashtag not only makes your posts searchable but also increases your post's self-life. So no matter when you post it, your post may be found a long time in the future with the help of hashtags.
  • Hashtags are a great way of labeling and finding social media updates.
  • They make your content discoverable and allow you to find relevant content from other people and businesses.
  • They also allow you to connect with and engage other social media users based on a common theme or interest.
  • Hashtags can increase awareness, getting your content seen by more people than just followers, and increase your social shares.

1. Hashtags Increase User Engagement :

Hashtags leverage user engagement. The hashtag is a symbol of attracting the target audience to your post on social media. Social media users will find your post according to its relevance with hashtags.

2. Hashtags Help Users To Understand Your Post at Glance :

Social Media networks are bust places. And using a relevant and perfect hashtag helps social media users to understand what the post is all about at a glance and attract them to your post.

3. Extend Reach to Broader Audiences :

Hashtags works like a search engine, it increases your post's online visibility and helps it to reach a broader audience. And it also helps to reach your business to a larger group.

4. Increase Brand Awareness :

Hashtags also help in increasing brand awareness. You can start a social media campaign with a unique hashtag related to your brand that increases brand awareness of your brand and can make your brand more recognized and popular and can also make your brand trending in the form of a hashtag.

# How To Use Hashtags :

Hashtag basics :

  • They always start with # but they won’t work if you use spaces, punctuation, or symbols.
  • Make sure your accounts are public. Otherwise, the hashtagged content you write won’t be seen by any non-followers.
  • Don’t try to be too clever or unusual. If you choose a tag that no one is searching for, it won’t benefit your marketing.
  • Don’t string too many words together. The best hashtags tend to be relatively short and easy to remember.
  • Using hashtags that are detailed and specific will lead to better results than broad or general ones. Broad terms are not likely to be searched, and if you use them, your content will probably get lost in a sea of unrelated content.
  • Use relevant and specific hashtags. If it is too obscure, it will be hard to find and it won’t likely be used by other social media users.
  • Don’t try to force hashtags onto every post. Instead, only use them when they add value to your post and are likely to stimulate conversation and interaction.
  • Limit the number of hashtags you use. More isn’t always better. It looks spammy.
  • Hashtags can not only attract members of your target audience, they can also be used to research your competition. Search using hashtags, and you will uncover relevant content related to your topic.

1. Keep It Simple and Relevant :

Keep your hashtags simple and easy to read and understand. It is essential to make sure to pick something that people searching for and can easily remember.
Using a hashtag that is long and difficult to spell or pronounce will probably not give you a good result. However, an unclear, never-used, or generic hashtag will also not get the results you want.

2. Be Unique and Specific :

As a marketer or a business person, you have to target a special social media userbase to your business or page, so during special events or any campaign you want to reach your community by using the hashtag then your hashtag should be unique and specific which can make you more engaged with your targeted community.

If you opt for generic hashtags such as #marketing, #seo, or something like #fashion and expect people to see and interact with your post, think again. Most likely your post will be lost amongst 1000’s other generic posts using the same hashtags.

Try not to use the overused hashtags or make sure that your hashtag is short, simple, and specific to your post and the user can easily relate it to his requirement.

3. Don't Overuse Hashtags :

Hashtags are an essential part of social media strategy. They give your brand more exposure so you can spread the word about your product to a massive audience. Besides, when you use it multiple times on different channels, people will easily remember your hashtag.
However, each social media platform has its own befitting hashtags frequency, and crossing it might lead to lesser engagement. In fact, using 10+ hashtags can reduce engagement by 68.2%.

4. Create Brand Engagement :

Hashtags have immerse ability to connect your brand with very famous and incredibly visible topics. Use of the right hashtag will allow new visitors to your post and will give you a chance to engage with them. When you use hashtags carefully, it helps to reach a huge base of targeted customers and improves customer relationships.

It’s important to know WHEN to use tags on social media. While you don’t want to ignore your users, it’s not necessary to use hashtags while conversing with your followers. As well as this, while it’s not necessary to use a hashtag in every post, it is vitally important to remember that you should not use them while responding to someone. Whether it’s a re-tweet or a reply, avoid using these characters when they are not required. Keep the marketing to your posts out of your customer dialogue.

5. Research before using hashtags:

Before using a trending hashtag, make sure to research it first. You don’t want to make a bad impression on your followers or attract the wrong audience. There are many websites and tools to know about trending hashtags. Like you can use Ritetag to optimize your Hashtags. You can read how to use trending hashtags and website and tools for hashtag tracking in my post - 5 Hashtag Tracking Tools for Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram

6. Do Use of Social Media Tools :

There are many social media tools available to which provide us a total analysis of hashtags and we can research about hashtags there and can get benefitted. Here are some of those -

1. Hashtagify. me :
One of the most complete hashtag tools you will find, Hashtagify. I have reams of data you can use to analyze hashtags. The most helpful could very well be the first data you’re shown: related hashtags and their popularity. When you type in a hashtag, the service will show you other hashtags to consider and will display visually how popular each hashtag is and how closely it correlates to the original.

2. RiteTag :
RiteTag helps ensure that the tags you use are well-chosen by showing you how good, great, or overused a particular hashtag is. The visual organization of hashtags into colored bars works great for quick analysis at-a-glance.

3. Tagboard :
With Tagboard, you can see how your hashtag is used across multiple networks. The results pages on Tagboard show hashtagged posts from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and App.net

4. Twitalyzer :
Though not an explicit hashtag tool, Twitalyzer does show hashtags as part of its audit of Twitter accounts. Input the username of someone you want to investigate, and Twitalyzer can tell you what hashtags he or she uses most often. This can help find out how your niche’s influencers tweet.

5. Trendsmap :
Local businesses might find value in Trendsmap, which shows you relevant hashtags that are being used in your geographic area.

7. Know The Hashtag Trends :

A trending hashtag is being used by a lot of people at the same thing. This commonly happens when there is breaking news or celebrity gossip or during a convention. Twitter alerts people when their followers are all tweeting about the same thing, so even if a hashtag isn’t trending, they’re good to use at events to increase your reach by helping acquire customers to increase the buzz of your brand.

Hii Guys!!!! I am Avinash Today I am here before you with a most sophisticated topic of Indian economy. Today Indian youth is in a different phase because of our society craze and our parents pressure to grab more and more degrees and to get a govt job.

So this is so catastrophic for our country and for us, so let's talk about some reasons and their causes and some solutions too about this problem -

    1. Most of Indian youth Wants a Government job :

Because our Indian society gives more honor and prestige to a govt employee and there are more comfort and little pressure in govt jobs, every Indian youth wants to get a government job. Most of Indian youth doesn't want to give their efforts to grab a private job because of our society's mentality they think that there is not any security in private jobs and they have to do hard work in private sector.
And right now Indian govt failed to create much jobs to provide as much govt employment as the youth is hoping for.

Data from the successive rounds of nationally representative youth surveys conducted by the Lokniti research programme at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) shows that the attraction of a sarkari naukri (government job) has not shown any signs of declining over the past decade. In fact, the share of youth who prefer a government job has grown slightly to 65% in 2016.

The share of youth who prefer a private job has nearly halved to 7% between the two rounds of the survey conducted in 2007 and 2016. The share of those wanting to start their own enterprises has risen marginally to 19% over the same period.

The 2007 and 2016 surveys covered 5,513 and 6,122 individuals, respectively. We compare the responses of individuals in the age group of 15-34 years.

Rural and urban youth hardly differ when it comes to job preferences. But the share of youth in big cities who prefer a government job shows a sharp increase between 2007 and 2016.

    2. A Huge Part of Youth is Busy in Studying or Training :

I don't know in India what are we doing. A large part of our life we spent in studying only, till  the age of 30 we are busy in completing our P.hd and many more things. we are not focusing on our skills, only we are doing is study.

Let me put a survey here before you -

Over 30% of youth aged 15-29 in India are not in employment, education or training (NEETs). This is more than double the OECD average and almost three times that of China.

NEET is a relatively new concept.

According to the OECD, youth inactivity presents the share of young people (age 15-29) not in employment, education or training (NEET) as a percentage of the total number of young people in the corresponding age group.

    3. India's socio-cultural norms add further complexity :

34% of the surveyed youth report that discriminatory and personal biases related to their marital status, gender, age or family background are a major barrier when looking for a job. 82% of female respondents said their ideal employment would be full-time, disproving the stereotype that women prefer part-time jobs. Similarly, despite the persistent view that household work and unpaid work are suitable and desirable for women, only 1% of surveyed female youth report this as being a desirable option for them.
