                                     This is the fact and according to the survey most of professionals or company are using social media in their recruitments efforts. You all really know very well that why social media is important. and when we come to social media platforms linkedin is the top and best platforms for job seekers, job hunters and recruiters. Likedin is specially designed for professionals so it can be a golden choice for you to optimize your network and increase a chance to get a perfect job. If your linkedin profile is powerful this point can be surety that right people can found you easily. So your profile should be powerful and advanced                     
Whether you are job hunting, job seeking, gathering leads, or networking in your industry, or a professional. So making a advanced linkedin profile is a better idea to be sure that you can be found by the right people. 
                                       
Those day are gone when we can get the proper job by newspaper articles. Now we have a place where we can hang out, we can find a job or employers can come to us to find a job. LinkedIn is a searchable database of talent and skills. You are potentially visible to everyone specifically looking for what you have to offer.

1. Your Picture :

                            Your profile picture should be of your face, You can also add your beautiful smile in it, that'll be a plus point for you. Mind that your profile picture is the first impression, and you already know that "first impression is the last impression". Smile. You are going for “dependable” and “trustworthy.” Avoid “sexy” or “quirky.” please don't add a profile picture like facebook. your profile picture should look like a professional, should be adaptable.
                                
  Yeah, you can add a profile photo according to your profession like a yoga instructor can add a picture of a yoga pose. that can be good for your profile.

3. Make your headline stand out :

                                                        You have 120 characters at the top of your profile to describe to the world what you do. Many people just put their official job title. Which is one way to go, Like others…but you don’t have to leave it that way. Consider listing your specialty and speaking directly to your audience. Make a use and implement some specific keywords which explains your identity or your profession. Please mind it that linkedin is a search engine too, it'll index your every activity to many other search engines. If you want your profile to be searchable, include important keywords; if that’s not as big of a concern for you. please try to keep your headline about 10 words, these are enough to explain about you so be short and sweet.

Examples of effective headlines are “Recruiter, HR, Talent Management Expert” or “Brand Marketing, PR,Social Media Marketing, Content Writing, Communications Professional.” Comes in handy especially if you are looking for work.  

3. Your summary :

                                A summary is a brief statement or restatement of main points, especially as a conclusion to a work. 

In Linkedin Summary Section You can include high-resolution photos, an infographic of your experience, or a video of your message. It is well worth it to put in the effort to write a unique and outstanding summary section.

You can add your 60 seconds "commercial" or your "elevator speech". please mind that you have a little time to grab the attention of the reader.

You can make points in your summary like your resume.You can add here some of your 5-6 bigger achievements. you can add top key skills here.  
Please mind thatSummary is An overview of content that provides a reader with the overarching theme, but does not expand on specific details.  
                                                

4. Your Experience :

                                    Here you should add all of your experience. Like you can add here about your work experience where you worked, in which-which company you worked. please mention your work and experience only according to your profession, please do not include any other experience that you had, mention only behalf of your profession. 

Here you can copy-paste experience from your resume.

Add images or documents to your experience - Did you know that you can add media files to your experience? It’s a great way to create a visual portfolio along with your standard resume information. It can be a great option for you.

5. Fill out the profile as much as possible :

                                                                        That includes skills, volunteer associations, education, etc. You can add interesting stuff here that you can't put on your resume. you can add your volunteer  experience here. You can add any interesting stuff about you at its relevant position.

6. Do Use of Keywords And SEO :

                                                      This can be the great idea to add keywords everywhere, especially in your experience and summary section. this will help you for SEO(Search engine optimization). You can add relevant keywords according to your profession.

 You can easily find relevant keyword to improve your SEO according to your profession. You have to do a little research that- which keywords are booming in your industry and profession, on which keywords and skills company are seeking employees in your industry or profession.

Please mind it that Linkedin is a search engine so using keywords for SEO can prove a golden biscuit for you.

7. Ask for recommendations :

                                                  A recommendation is a comment written by a LinkedIn member to recognize or commend a colleague, business partner, or student. Viewers of your profile often view the recommendations you've received on your profile to see what others have to say about your work.

Recommendations is a great way to improve your Linkedin profile strength.

Reach out to past colleagues, managers, and associates and ask that they write you a recommendation.

8. Add links to relevant sites :

                                                   If you had worked with a blog and with a online portfolio you can add their url to your profile. Make use of three urls are allowed on your profile.

9. Groups and associations :

                                                Join relevant groups according to your profession and field. Where you can contribute your conversation.
